General Questions
Cocoa Classroom is a friendly, AI-powered online learning platform designed to support homeschooling families, teachers, and independent learners with engaging lessons, assessments, and personalized content.
Cocoa Classroom is built for homeschooling parents, teachers, and students from elementary through middle school. Whether you're creating a custom program or following a standard curriculum, Cocoa Classroom adapts to your needs.
No worries—Cocoa Classroom is built to be easy for everyone. With a clean design and helpful AI tools, you don’t need to be tech-savvy to create lessons, assign work, or track progress.
Account Setup & Access
When you sign up as a parent, Cocoa Classroom will check if your email address has already been added to a group by another parent. If so, you’ll automatically be added to that group. If not, you’ll become the owner of a new group. To add other parents or students to your group, you’ll need to upgrade to a Family account or higher. Once added, they’ll be automatically placed in your group when they sign up using their email.
Students cannot sign up on their own. A parent must first add the student to their group using the student’s email address. Once added, the student can sign up using that email. If the email hasn't been added to a group in advance, the sign-up will not be allowed.
The 6-digit code is sent to your email during registration to verify your identity. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a message from Cocoa Classroom.

While we focus on core subjects like Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies for grades K–8, the platform is fully customizable and not limited by age or topic. One of our most powerful features is the course and syllabus builder, which allows anyone—students, parents, or adult learners—to create and enroll in their own courses, including niche or advanced topics. In fact, as the founder and developer, I use Cocoa Classroom as the primary tool for my own child’s education. Whether you're supplementing a traditional curriculum or building something entirely your own, Cocoa Classroom gives you the flexibility to do it.
